In addition to Stormboard’s built-in video sticky type – this capability allows you to embed entire channels and playlists as well. Useful for training or consulting, inspiration for strategizing, or just to make your workspace more engaging.
YouTube allows billions of people to discover, watch and share originally-created videos.
Steps for integrating YouTube into Stormboard
On a computer, open a YouTube video or playlist you’d like to embed.
Below the video, click ‘share’.
Select the ‘embed’ option.
A pop-up with a preview and code will appear on your screen. Copy the code .
Create a new sticky note in your Storm.
Choose ‘File’ in the sticky’s top menu.
Select ‘Embed’.
Paste the code from YouTube.
You’re all done!
Once your embedded video is in the Storm, you can treat it just like any other sticky. Change the background color, re-size it, or even make it a Pure Embed. Anyone in your Storm can then click on the embed sticky and open it in a larger view in the right side panel of your Storm.
