Use Vimeo as an alternative to Stormboard’s built-in integration with YouTube, or embed your team’s own professional videos and recordings to help with onboarding and training, film review, or content creation in a collaborative and easy-to-access interface.
Vimeo is a professional online video hosting, sharing, and services platform known for high quality videos, business use cases, and an actively engaged community.
Steps for integrating Vimeo into Stormboard
Open Vimeo and find a video.
Make sure the video has sharing enabled.
Click the ‘link’ button.
Copy the embed code provided.
Create a new sticky note in your Storm.
Choose ‘File’ in the sticky’s top menu.
Select ‘Embed’.
Paste the code from Vimeo.
You’re all done!
Once the Vimeo video is embedded is in the Storm, you can treat the sticky just like any other idea. Change the background color, re-size it, or even make it a Pure Embed.
Anyone in your Storm can then click on the embed sticky and open it in a larger view in the right side panel of your Storm to play the video without exiting the Storm.
