A Guide to Stormboard’s Awesome Integrations
Stormboard is a great team collaboration tool all on its own — but to make the experience even better for our users, we are integrated with multiple other apps and online platforms!
With a variety of integrations available, you won’t have to worry about switching between apps during a meeting or having to move your data from place to place manually.
Microsoft Integration
Our largest and most notable integration is with Microsoft. The integration includes Office 365, Surface Hub, Windows 10, Teams, and Flow.
With our Office 365 integration, you are able to create documents (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) right inside any Storm, co-edit documents in real-time with anyone in your team, and upload files from your computer to your Storms (shown below). To do this, open a new sticky note and click on ‘File’ in the upper right-hand corner.
Documents that you create can be saved directly to your Storm or they can be downloaded to your desktop.
When you are done working in a Storm and want to convert your ideas into a formal document, try the reporting feature.
In any Storm, click the ‘Reports’ button on the bottom bar. This will prompt you to choose a type of report you would like to convert your information into (Ex. PowerPoint, Word Doc, etc.).

If your team needs a large-scale format to use Stormboard, try our integration with Microsoft Surface Hub! Stormboard’s software works just as it does on a desktop, laptop, or tablet — but on the big screen!
With the Surface Hub, you can have multiple simultaneous side-by-side users — two or more people can physically work on the same board at one time using pen, touch, or both.

You can also create your own connections with Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Flow)!
Automated connections called Flows, which you can set up in minutes, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn’t be possible. Learn the details of our Flow features here.
If you use Microsoft Teams, stay tuned! We are gearing up to integrate teams into our software so that you can view Storms right inside your team channels.
Zapier
Unless you are an API expert, it can be incredibly difficult to create an automated workflow that will sync data across platforms.
Stormboard’s integration with Zapier is here to help!
Automated connections called Zaps, which you can set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn’t be possible.
Each Zap has one app as the “Trigger”, where your information comes from and which causes one or more “Actions” in other apps, where your data gets sent automatically.

Slack
If you use Slack to regularly communicate with your team, you can now integrate Stormboard into your chats, making your workflow even more efficient.
This integration will help you keep your business process and workflow more efficient and streamlined.
To add the Stormboard-bot to Slack, click on the “Connect To Slack” button located on the bottom, left-hand side of your Stormboard Dashboard.
You can also add the bot while in Slack by searching for the Stormboard App. Click the “+” button located next to the Apps title at the bottom of your screen.
You will be able to add ideas, create new Storms, and ask for help all from Slack. You can also use “/addstorm” in any channel which will invite everyone in that channel to join your new Storm — no need to send invites separately!
Box
Add images and files directly from Box to your Storm! More information about Box can be found on their website.
