Generate insights on specific ideas
There is often one specific idea or sticky note on your board that you find yourself stuck on. Maybe you’ve been staring at it too long and felt you’ve lost objectivity, or maybe it’s related to an idea outside of your team’s expertise.
With the click of a button, StormAI becomes your subject matter expert that can unlock new insights to fill in the gaps.
Summarize ideas
Get a summary of any selected content for a high-level snapshot. Or go even further by adding the summary to your whiteboard.
This can be particularly helpful, and save you a lot of time, when creating reports later.
Group by theme
Group your team’s related stickies together for clarity. Once they’re grouped, that can help you spot trends and themes you may have missed.
Group by sentiment
Organize the stickies your team has added by negative, positive, or neutral sentiment.
This can help you gauge your team’s temperature or reactions to a given idea, without asking shy team members to speak up in group settings.
You can also gather external feedback from sources like Twitter/X or user reviews and add them to stickies to get a broad view of the sentiment.

Sometimes your team hits a creative wall. StormAI offers new perspectives on any given idea, without problematic blockers like Groupthink or other biases.

Template generation
Life is too short for templates that don’t work for you.
You don’t need to waste any more time creating your own template from scratch, retrofitting your content into someone else’s, or trying to work with a template that “pretty much” works for you.
StormAI can create a template for you, based on the instructions you give our plan-language prompting system. You don't need to be a prompt engineer! For example, you might say:
“Set up a template as a SWOT analysis to identify areas we can improve in our current software development process.”
“Help us brainstorm marketing strategies for launching a new pharmaceutical product.”
“Generate a template for an agile team project kickoff that encourages participation from all team members.”
StormAI will create a template based on your needs in just a few seconds. From there, you can customize it to more closely match your needs, or try another description if you want to see what else is possible.
Automated section generation:
StormAI generates section titles based on your descriptions and your goals, then provides you with the section titles most likely to fit your needs and set you up for success.
Feel free to add your own section titles or, if you prefer to add ideas first and name your section after, use StormAI to refresh things with Section Name Recommendations.
Automated ideas:
Get rid of awkward silences and brain blocks when your team is stuck trying to think of an idea. Simply click the AI button to instantly get relevant ideas.
What makes our AI different?
What really separates StormAI from other solutions is our Contextual AI that looks at the content and context of your entire project and workspace. But why does that matter?
Let’s say you hover over the word ‘Apple’ in one of your stickies. Most large language models (LLMs) see the word ‘Apple’ and suggest ideas about oranges, grapes, or mangos. On the other hand, StormAI sees Apple on your whiteboard, but also notices the terms iPad, Galaxy, and Sony. It realizes you’re not putting together a fruit salad. It looks at the entire picture, including your template, instructions, and the data/ content already on your whiteboard. It understands your context so it can make more logical suggestions, every time you or your team contributes.
It’s a more aware and intuitive AI that’s built right into our system. There is no reason to open another tab or another program to find the insights you’re looking for.
Is my data safe using StormAl?
Stormboard's Data-First Platform prioritizes privacy and security by adhering to industry-standard security protocols and best practices to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of user data. We send encrypted Storm data to our Al Service partners, including Microsoft OpenAl Service. Unlike ChatGPT where your chats can be used to train their model, Stormboard data is not used by our Al Service Partners to train their models. Data may be retained for up to 30 days in a dedicated single instance and accessible only to authorized employees for (1) debugging purposes and (2) investigating patterns of misuse.
You can configure what data (Personal Identifiable Information [PI]) from your Storm gets redacted before sending it to our Al Service partners.
