About the Research Design Canvas Template
Developed by Dr. Benjamin Ellway, the Research Design Canvas simplifies academic research into nine fundamental building blocks, each with targeted questions to guide you when applying academic principles and making crucial decisions to design your project. By placing the fundamental components of your research project side-by-side, you’ll be able to more easily recognize connections and build coherence in your project.
The template is divided into nine sections: Literatures, Observations and Arguments, R/Q Hypotheses, Contributions, Sample/Context, Methodology / Design / Methods, Theory & Concepts, Problem / Phenomenon, and Assumptions / Paradigm.
